whoop sections played havoc
for both riders.
"We had a tough battle
from behind this weekend and
struggled on the starts," Tomac
said. "Overall, it was decent, and
we salvaged some points."
"I just didn't get a start, had to
make some passes," Webb said.
"[I] was a bit far from the lead

was a bit disappointed with that
performance."

"I call myself 'the avatar'
because I'm so connected to
the bike," Barcia joked. "I signed
with the team for another two

and his results certainly show
signs of improvement. He's only
finished outside the top five
four times this year and just
one point separates Roczen and
Barcia in the championship.
"It's a tight battle and even
though it's not for the champion

ship it's still fun," Roczen said
about the points chase. "In the
past few years when it got to the
end, it just wasn't fun that way.
This year I'm having a lot more
fun and it's showing."
Perhaps the biggest surprise
of the day was not seeing Webb

Despite finishing fifth, Eli Tomac
only dropped a point to series
