Prado, Adamo Triumph In Italy R ound four of the FIM Motocross World Championship, the MXGP of Trentino, played out in Pietramu- rata, Italy, April 15-16. GasGas' Jorge Prado (MXGP) and KTM's Andrea Adamo (MX2) came away with the overall wins. MXGP Prado grabbed the holeshot in race one while many of his main com- petitors, including Jeffrey Herlings, Romain Febvre and Jeremy Seewer, went down in the first turn. This put Prado clearly in the lead as many new faces found themselves up at the front. Prado managed the race from the top spot and easily cruised to the race win. Behind him, Ruben Fernandez held down second before falling with two laps left in the race. This allowed Maxime Renaux to overtake second, while Fernandez took third. After falling in turn one, Herlings made his way to ninth with Febvre in 12th. Race two again saw Prado take the holeshot and the early lead. Feb - vre put himself near the front. While Prado led, Herlings was on the move, making his way through the field. The KTM rider overtook the lead late in the race and found himself up front for the first time since the end of the 2021 season. Herlings went on to claim the race win and used 9-1 finishes to take third over - all. Renaux battled with Prado and WIND IN THE P38 Jorge Prado extended his MXGP Championship lead with his first overall win of the year.
