It was pretty much all things Daytona in issue #11 20 years ago.
Miguel Duhamel and Ricky Carmichael shared the cover of Cycle
News. Duhamel topped the Daytona 200 and Carmichael the Daytona
Supercross for the fourth time. Chris Carr was also pictured on the
cover after riding a Vor to victory at the Daytona Short Track... We
reported the passing of two-time World Champion Barry Sheene.
He died of cancer at the age of 52... Barry Hawk won a muddy
GNCC opener in Palatka, Florida.
