finished just off the podium a week ago in Daytona. Barcia won his heat race and later clawed his way to Roczen's rear wheel in the main event. The number-51 passed Webb and proceeded to set the fastest lap time of the race in the process. He let it all hang out, skimming the treacherous whoops for almost the entire race. Barcia got close to the Suzuki many times in the final minutes of the main, but never found a spot to secure a pass. "I felt in control for the whole race," Barcia said. "I always look pretty on edge but I'm loose. There were scary spots for sure but I like the whoops like that; just get loose and let the bike do its thing." Webb finished third but might've been the biggest win - ner of the night. The KTM rider ran second for most of the race but eventually gave up the spot to Barcia. The two tailed each other for most of the second half, but Webb seemed to cruise it in at the end, finishing eight seconds back from Barcia and ROUND 9 / MARCH, 11 2023 LUCAS OIL STADIUM / INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA P78 HAMPSHIRE PULLS OUT After a spectacular 450cc debut the weekend before at the Day- tona Supercross, RJ Hampshire was back in Indy but withdrew after qualifying 15th.
