He was then only one point back
going into main number three
but suffered two crashes that
eventually dropped him to fifth
in the race. His last-lap crash
threw away the race win with
a crash in the whoop section.
Thrasher remounted in third,
using three podium finishes to
take the overall.
"I'm not really treating it like
I'm hurt," Thrasher said about
his knee. "We're just manag
-
ing it. I'm trying to go out there
and win races just like I came
into the season trying to do. It's
obviously there but once the
adrenaline starts pumping it's a
lot easier."
Jordon Smith fought up front
all night, earning himself sec
-
ond overall, his best result so
far in the 2023 season. Smith
convincingly took the win in race
two, while the Thrasher-Law
-
rence battle waged behind him.

wild race-winning last-lap pass
on Nate Thrasher. Much to the
Texas crowd's delight, the duo
found themselves going at it
again in Arlington.
A wild night for Thrasher
saw him earn redemption from
Tampa. The Yamaha rider, who
is riding with an ACL injury he
sustained at Houston, showed
race-winning speed all night.
He earned the overall without
winning a single main event!
Thrasher stayed close with
Lawrence in race one, finished
second again in race two after
the two tangled, and came into
race three tied in points. He led
almost all of the final main but

Eli Tomac confirmed what
the rest of his 2023 schedule
will look like as the defending
Supercross and 450MX Cham-
pion is officially in for this sum-
mer's Pro Motocross series and
later the SuperMotocross World
Championship playoffs. Tomac
signed an extension with Monster
Energy Star Racing Yamaha that
sees him continue with the team
through the end of this year.
