Evel Knievel's attempt to successfully land the world's longest jump
at the L.A. Coliseum was postponed due to rain... We tested the
American-made Holder Moto X 125, which produced five horsepower
from its 133cc engine.

LOOKING BACKI
Bob "Hurricane" Hannah made the cover of Cycle News 40 years
ago for winning both nights of racing at the Seattle Supercross
doubleheader. Honda teammate David Bailey took second place
both nights, while another factory Honda rider Johnny O'Mara and
Kawasaki's Je Ward swapped third-place finishes... We had a couple
of oŒ-road tests in issue number six in 1983. We rode KTM's 420 MXC
and Yamaha's IT490K.
