in action with Alan Cathcart at the controls on the cover 30 years
ago... Jeremy McGrath won his third straight Supercross, the latest
coming at Jack Murphy Stadium in San Diego. Honda-mounted Mickael
Pichon won the 125cc main... We
predicted Doug Polen would take
the title in our 1993 AMA Superbike
Championship preview. (We were
right, of course.).
James Stewart won his fourth 125cc Supercross main event in a
row at Anaheim 3 and was pictured on the cover 20 years ago. Ricky
Carmichael and Chad Reed battled it out in the 250cc main with the
win going to Carmichael... We interviewed Amsoil/Chaparral Honda's
Travis Preston, titled, "I'm Really Not Funny."... We also chatted with
