see local hero Marty Smith race for
the last time at the 1981 San Diego
Supercross, but they were thrilled to
see another home-grown racer, factory
Yamaha's "Golden Boy" Broc Glover,
take the win over Honda's Jim Gibson
and Donnie Hansen.
