BY RYAN NITZEN PHOTOGRAPHY BY BROWNDOG WILSON T he more things change, the more they stay the same. New bikes, new teams, heck, even a new stadium for this weekend. But somehow, the same two guys still managed to come out on top in San Diego. The all-new Snapdragon Stadium played host to round two of the 2023 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship, where Eli Tomac and Jett Lawrence won their respective main events. Unless you live under a rock, you know torrential rain soaked California the past few weeks. This forced last week's origi- nally scheduled round two in Oakland to be postponed and moved to February, so the San Diego race acted as the new round two. So riders got a rare break between rounds one and two, but the results stayed the same, at least for the first two positions in both classes. VOLUME ISSUE JANUARY , P51 Eli Tomac is putting good starts to good use. TWO-4-TWO
