T
he Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki
Team confirmed that Austin Forkner will sit
out the rest of the 2023 Supercross season.
Forkner suffered a knee injury just a few feet
off the gate at the start of the 250SX West main
event at Anaheim 1, January 7. Forkner tangled
with a couple of other riders and went down in a
violent crash.
Forkner reported on his Instagram account
that his right knee suffered several injuries, but
the worst was a torn ACL. He also broke a bone
in his hand. This marks the third season in a row
that Forkner has been knocked out of the Super
