MYOWNRACE
51 JUSTIN BARCIA
11TH 450SX
Jus n Barcia is an A1 expert and led
again this year before mistakes dropped
him down in the rankings. "I made a
big change before the heat race and
unfortunately went in the wrong direc-
on. So I went back to my base se ng
for the main event. Pre y much ripped
the holeshot, led a few laps, made a huge
mistake, and had a crash. I worked my
way back up to, like, seventh and had
another crash. So it was a difficult main
event. We had a good start, and we had
speed, we just need to keep it on two
wheels and keep it simple and we'll be
good. But the speed is there, the fitness
is there, and the bike's there, so I'm
happy with that."
28 CHRISTIAN CRAIG
13TH 450SX
A big crash in prac ce ruined Chris an
Craig's debut on the Rockstar Energy
Husqvarna. "A1's done, and it was a
rough day for me," Craig said. "I started
off good in prac ce and then had a pre y
big crash in the whoops and, from there
on out, it was a struggle. I rode ght and
not like myself. I'm pre y frustrated with
the night."
Eli Tomac was all
smiles after nabbing
his first career
Anaheim 1 win.
Tomac (1), Ken Roczen (94) fight
for the 450SX main holeshot
but Justin Barcia (not pictured)
swooped past them both from
the outside for the early lead.
