In the Freestyle competition, Taka Higashino claimed his third gold medal, edging out Adam Jones. Nate Adams and Blake Williams faced off against each other for the gold in the Speed & Style competition, and it was Adams who came out on top. Ronnie Renner used his familiar whipped style to clear 38.5 feet in the Step Up competition and come away with the gold, with Libor Podmol claiming silver with a 37.7-foot leap. Desalle earned his second overall victory of the season, dominating both motos from start to finish. Joining Desalle on the podium was his teammate Kevin Stribjos (2-4), and Honda's Evgeny Bobryshev (5-3), who is coming back from an injury-plagued season.
