For the past four years Nicky Hayden
has served Ducati earnestly and dutifully. Did the same this year, but it's
been an uphill job, and between the
two of them they've run out of steam.
Being Nicky, he hasn't ridden any differently this year. Nor will he as he sees
out the last months of his employment.
Being Ducati, the bike will continue not
to do him any favors.
Hayden won the first two races at
Laguna (on a Honda), so it must be
hard for him to struggle, qualifying 10th
and racing to eighth. Doesn't do his
employment prospects for next year
too much good.
