Bagnaia and Bastianini, no stranger to each
other after a couple of close hand-to-hand combats
this season at Aragon and Misano, once again put
on a show for the first Malaysian MotoGP crowd
since 2019, swapping paint and positions that at
some points became a little too close for comfort
given the championship implications if a collision
occurred and Bagnaia went down.
