come through. That was the case in
Malaysia this past weekend as Fran-
cesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo) took a determined
victory from a lowly ninth on the grid after he
defeated his 2023 factory Ducati teammate, Enea
Bastianini in a battle that must have had Ducati's
top brass sitting on the edge of their seats.
