Anderson led laps in moto two and even set the fastest time of the race before giving up the lead to Sexton. Still, another second place bested his recent thirds and a 2-2 result earned Anderson his second career-overall victory. "I was out front and kind of fumbled a bit and started not rid- ing too good," Anderson said. "I just fought to be able to get sec- ond. So, 2-2, it was nice to get an overall, but it would've been nice to get a moto win. A con- sistent pair of fourths put him just inside the top five with fi h overall. "Today was a good day," he said. "I got really good starts all day. I came out second in the first moto and I rode a good race—I rode efficiently and I was able to push it to the end. The second moto, I got a good start again in third and then got into the lead. I led a few laps, which was really nice, and ended up fourth again. Not ideal on the overall but we're definitely making progress."
