Sexton put an end to Tomac's win streak. eventually got the better of Tomac and put a stop to Tomac's moto winning streak. A 2-1 earned Sexton his first overall win since round one and keeps the points deficit the same at five. Somehow, his 3-3 was only good enough for fourth. "Overall, it was a good day with me ge ng the holeshot and leading in moto one," Shimoda said. "I was able to s ck with the leaders for a long me and win some hard ba les, which is nice because I think my speed was off today." "That was a really good moto for me," Sexton said. "Eli was on me, but I kept fending him off. I finally got away and brought it home. It means a lot to me to win like that, and I'm really looking forward to these last four races. I couldn't be more happy to battle with a guy like Eli." While Tomac's win streak comes to an end, he still con- trols the points lead. With the series heading into a two-week break, it will be interesting to see who returns recharged and who will carry momentum through the final rounds.
