It's starting to look like Tomac can't
be stopped. He's certainly known
for his all-out speed and endur-
ance, but his consistency is what
paid off the most at Spring Creek.
Tomac started up front in moto one
but practically gave the lead up
to Chase Sexton near the halfway
mark. After Sexton threw it away,
Tomac re-inherited the top spot
and ran away with the moto victory.
However, moto two saw the
real show, as Tomac classically
charged through the field en route
to the lead. After barely squeezing
past Sexton, the rivals pushed one
of the fastest paces we've seen
all year. The suspense was real,
and a mistake from either rider
would've given the edge to the
other. Tomac managed to hold on,
setting the race's fastest time by al-

Ryan Dungey was knocking on the door
for a podium and grabbed a top five in
front of his hometown crowd. "I got off to
a great start first moto and pre y much
sat in fourth the whole race. I was si ng
right behind Anderson, and our speed
was good, and bike setup was good. The
second moto, I just got a bad start and got
shuffled back, so I had a lot of work to do.
I was behind Barcia, and I feel like I could
have go en him and a few guys in front
of him, but I rushed a turn and crashed. I
made a few more passes but pre y much
ran a lonely sixth for the rest of the race.

Another moto podium for Chris an Craig,
with a third in moto two, put him fourth
overall. "It was a good day. I always enjoy
coming here. This is one of my favorite
tracks on the circuit. I spent a lot of me
here in the past, so I've got a lot of family
and friends that show up here. I had a
decent qualifying, then I had a good first
moto and got off to a decent start. I got
