W
hen riders start sweeping rounds with 1-1 finishes,
the racing tends to be a bit boring. This year has been
quite the opposite, though. We've seen neck-and-neck
racing in both classes, and the 2022 Spring Creek National will
certainly get added to that list. Four 35-minute wars took place
at Spring Creek, resulting in 1-1 sweeps from Eli Tomac and Jett
Lawrence. Another win for Lawrence sees him extend his points
lead, while Tomac finally took control of the 450MX Champion-
ship and will wear the red plate next week at Washougal.
