he 2021 450cc Lucas Oil AMA Pro Moto-
cross Champion, Dylan Ferrandis, says he'll
line up for the final four rounds of the series,
starting with Unadilla on August 13.
The Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha
Team rider suffered a thumb injury that required
surgery just days before the opening round
back in May.
Ferrandis reported via social media that he
has started riding again and plans to be back for
the last four Nationals: Unadilla, Budds Creek,
Ironman (Indiana) and Pala.

onster Energy Star Racing Yamaha's Levi Kitch-
en was riding a wave of momentum lately when
he suffered a broken wrist while practicing a few days
before the Spring Creek National Motocross.
The rookie from Washington had earned his first-
career moto win at the Colorado National last month,
leading all 15 laps of the first 250cc moto. He fin-
ished out the day on the podium for the first time of
his young career. Ever since, Kitchen has been post-
ing top-10 overall finishes and was holding down fifth
in the championship when the injury took place.
Kitchen underwent surgery and will most likely be
sidelined for the rest of the season, saying, "I'll do my
best to be back as soon as I can."
