World Supercross Names
Two More Teams
S
X Global, the producers of
the new FIM World Super-
cross Championship, introduced
two more teams to be accepted
into the series—Honda Genuine
Honda Racing and Muc-Off/
FXR/Club MX.
The Honda team, owned by
Yarrive Konski, is based out of
the Millsaps Training Facility in
Georgia, and former racer Martin
Davalos has been appointed as
the team's manager.
The Muc-Off/FXR/ClubMX
Team, owned by Brandon Haas
with partner Scott Jeffery, is
based out of its training facility in
South Carolina.
Neither team has announced
their riders.
There is one slot remaining for
the allotted 10 race teams that
will make up the inaugural three-
race championship to start later
this fall.
However, the Craig Dack
CDR Team revealed three of
its four riders who will compete
for them: Luke Clout, Aaron
Tanti and Kyle Chisholm. Clout
will compete in WSX (450cc)
and Tanti will compete in SX2
(250cc), while Chisholm's class
is still TBD. The final rider will be
announced at a later date.
"As we embark on our jour-
ney to compete for an FIM-
sanctioned World Supercross
Championship title, we're thrilled
with the prospects of our team
and believe the combination of
Luke, Aaron and Kyle gives us
an impressive roster to compete
for podiums right out of the
gates during this pilot season,"
said Dack. "These three guys
possess several critical in-
tangibles on and off the track
that will serve our team well
when competing on the global
stage against the best riders
supercross has to offer and we
couldn't be more excited to get
the season going."
