were the big winners at RedBud... Alex Criville won the Dutch TT GP
Road Race after a tough battle with John Kocinski... Steve Lamson and
Robbie Reynard ruled the Mammoth Mountain Motocross... Giancarlo
Falappa scored his first career
World Superbike victory, in Austria...
Donny Schmit won the 250cc MX
GP in Ireland.
Valentino Rossi dominated the cover of Cycle News 20 years ago,
just like he was in GP Road Racing. The Repsol Honda man won the
Dutch Grand Prix... Nicky Hayden ran off with the AMA Superbike
round wins at Brainerd... Rodney Smith won the battle of wills at
the Wisp GNCC... We compared the Honda CBR1100XX, Kawasaki
ZX-12R and Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa in our "ultrasport" superbike
