However, the real performance
riders out there will be pleased to
see the fitment of a lighter silver
anodized aluminum swingarm that
looks straight off Scott Redding's
factory WorldSBK racer.
The M 1000 RR is already a
beast of a bike thanks to the S 1000
RR-derived motor that pumps out
a claimed 205 horsepower and 83
lb-ft of torque, seven riding modes,
a pit-lane speed limiter, Dynamic
Traction Control, wheelie and slide
control, Shift Assist Pro, and a
lightweight lithium ion battery. The
M chassis kit also comes with a rear
ride height adjuster and swingarm
pivot adjuster.
BMW Motorrad North America
will have these super superbikes for
sale in the third quarter of this year
but if you want one, contact a local
BMW dealer, pronto.
