Jeremy Martin To Muc-Off FXR ClubMX Team I t appears that Jeremy Martin has ridden his last race as a member of the Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha Team after the Muc-Off FXR ClubMX Team announced it had signed the two-time 250MX Pro Motocross National Champion for the 2023 season. Martin has been struggling with a shoulder injury since last year and recently had surgery on the shoulder, which means he will most likely sit out the entire 2022 outdoors series as he recovers. "Bringing a multi-time national champion to our team takes us to a new level," said team owner Brandon Haas in a release. "I have known Jeremy for a long time and have a great deal of respect for his attitude and work ethic. He is the perfect fit for our style of racing and will lift all aspects of our program. He's a grinder. He just puts his head down and does the work with no flash. He doesn't need a spotlight on him—he just wants to win." Martin's deal with the Muc-Off FXR ClubMX Team will see him compete in the 250cc class for both Supercross and Pro Motocross. "As you can imagine, it was a difficult decision with all the offers on the table," Martin said. "I am familiar with the ClubMX program and it has been grow- ing at a good pace for a reason. Their bikes are on point, and I have a good comfort level with Brandon and the crew. The main deciding factor for me is the ClubMX facility itself. What most people don't see or know about are the 10 tracks, the training program, the fitness program—all top notch." CN VOLUME 59 ISSUE 20 MAY 17, 2022 P33 Jeremy Martin will race for the Muc-Off FXR ClubMX Team in Supercross and Pro Motocross next year.
