1993 Yamaha street bikes. Continued from page 21 The strength in the rest of Yamaha's street line lies in a trio of 600cc class machines. The entry-level Seca II returns mechanically unchanged, but is now available in a new, dark green color. The original red color scheme is still available, and the price of the machine jumped $200 to $3999. Answering the call in the 600cc sport category is the FZR600, which received a dual halogen headlight and two new color schemes, while the Virago 535 cruiser returns to the Yamaha lineup after a two-year absence. The Virago 535 was dropped from the American lineup after poor sales in 1990, but since then (Above) The Virgo 535 returns to Yamaha's lineup after a two-year absence and answers the call for a 600cc class cruiser. (Right) The TDM850 features a new color scheme, more chrome components and greater engine detail than its predecessor. has proved to be the all-around bestselling motorcycle in Europe. The '93 edition of the smallest Virago is mechanically unchanged from the '90 version, and still sports the same four-stroke VTwin motor. The FZR600 costs $5299, while the Virago matches the Seca II's $3999 price tag. NEW BIKES ~ The V-Max, Yamaha's 119&c V-4powered machine, received larger front forks for added rigidity and better handling, and a larger, FZRloo0-style front disc and four-piston front brake caliper. The V-Max is available in a new black color and its suggested retail price is $8299. The Venture Royale touring motorcycle returns completely unchanged and costs $11,499, as does the $8399 FZRIOOO sport bike. The FJ1200ABS sport touring bike returns unchanged and costs $8999. The non-ABS FJ1200 was dropped from the lineup. The Virago 750 and 1100 cruisers are both available in new colors, but remain mechanically unchanged with $4999 and $6599 price tags, .respectively. The TDM850 sport touring motorcycle features more chrome components, as well as a new color scheme and engine detailing.
