-"'\Joe Eric Bostrom out-distanced the competition in the 250cc class. Bostrom easily beat tiny 13-year-old Shawn Russell. Russell held off John McClelland and Nathan Wait who were forced to sellle for third and fourth, respectively. Lawrence Greene fought off Tom Sherman and Malt Wait in the Pro-Am main, but Wait and Sherman fell. Wait was out, but Sherman did restart several laps down. While Green romped away with the win, Dan Hart assumed second over Norb Gregory and Kirk Jenneman. Mike Gresham finished lap one of the Expert main in third, but passed one rider a lap to pull away to a convincing win. Marc Gifford was an easy second.
