hit that thing," Anderson said.
"His rear wheel came out and
I clipped it with my footpeg but
luckily, I was able to avoid that.
But as far as these conditions go,
I think everyone is good on what
they grew up on, and for me I'm
from New Mexico, and it's not the
most moist dirt or anything, so I
think I thrive pretty well in these
hard-packed conditions."
Malcolm Stewart found himself
back up on the box in Denver,
tying his career-best second
place finish. The Husqvarna rider,
decked out in a clean all-white
kit, made the move on Tomac
through the whoop section to lock
down the second spot. He held
tough in the dry, dusty conditions
but couldn't get close enough to

"A li le bit of a difficult day," said Jus n
Barcia. "I had another really good start
in the main and was having a really good
race, charging hard and really close to
the podium. Unfortunately, I had a crash
and that was pre y much all the race
wrote. I'm definitely disappointed in
the day but definitely did a lot of great
things, as well. I had a lot of great starts
today."

6TH 450SX
"Denver was an average day for me," said
Cooper Webb, who will turn over the
number-one plate to Eli Tomoc in Utah.
"I had a decent start in the main and kind
of got pushed wide on the opening lap. I
got up to sixth and I kind of stayed there
the whole race. I latched on with the
guys ahead of me and some guys went
down, and I made some passes. Overall,
it was kind of a struggle of a day. The
track was very dry and sketchy, so not
ideal condi ons."
