Hampshire was the Open Money, 250cc B and 125cc B class winner on this wet night of racing, where only one moto ran because of rain and lighting. Hampshire's only loss came in the Open Amateur class, where Vince DeVane took an easy win and Hampshire crashed out of the molO. In the Money class Hampshire nailed the holeshot with Gary Paul behind. Vince DeVane fell in the first tum. Hampshire led the race until the white flag lap, where he fell and let Paul by.
