Young holeshot the opening 250cc Pro
molO, but tired and eventually dropped to
fourth. New Zealand Motocross Champion
Shaune King and Kawasaki Team Green's
Ryan Carlisle battled for the front position,
with King holding the upper hand at the
finish. Carlisle held on for second, ahead of
Carlisle, Billy Joe Mercier and Young.
Metzger finished fifth.
[n moto two, Carlisle grabbed the initial
lead, but was Q,uickly passed by King over a
oicky double Jump. Metzger moved in to
pressure Carlisle, but was forced to settle for
third at the finish. King's I-I scored were
uncontested for the overall win, while
Carlisle, Metzller and Young rounded out the
top overall fi mshers.
