Honda Hawk 11 First Look
H
onda has unveiled a new street bike
based on the Africa Twin ahead of the
2022 Tokyo Motorcycle Show.
Dubbed the Hawk 11, the café racer-
styled bike uses a frame and motor similar
to the NT1100 touring model, which itself is
derived from the Africa Twin.
Details on the bike are sketchy, but we
expect to see the Hawk 11 with around 100
horsepower and 77 lb-ft of torque, similar
to the Africa Twin, but with a modified
exhaust to aid in cornering clearance.
Showa SFF-BP forks have been fitted,
similar to the Africa Twin, but modified
for sport bike usage, with the brakes
consisting of Nissin four-piston calipers
gripping 310mm discs.
The styling is the talking point, however,
with a cute bikini-style fairing housing an
old-school circular headlight in a similar
fashion to the CB4 Interceptor concept
machine of 2017, while the mirrors have
been mounted in front of the handlebars to
give a slimmer look.
We'd expect to see the Hawk 11 on sale
in Asia and Europe as a 2023 model but
there's no word yet on when it'll come to
the United States.

Honda's done very nicely with
the styling of the Hawk 11.
