Mees, who had been slowed up by traffic, saw
his two-plus-second lead reduced to less than half
a second, but he took the checkered flag before
things got too interesting.
"It was a good day," Mees said. "Obviously, last
week was a little bit rough on me, but we rebound-
ed really well tonight. I needed to come in and get
this win mentally ahead of the big break that we
have. It was good right out of the gate. We were
fast qualifier overall and won from there on out. Not
much more to say than that."
For Beach, the runner-up represented his sec-
ond podium in as many tries this season, while Dan-
iels' third marked his maiden premier-class podium.
Behind fourth-placed Bauman, Vanderkooi came
out on top of a battle for fifth with teammate Bran-
don Robinson at their team's and title sponsors'
home round.
Bob Lanphere's BMC Racing's Davis Fisher, La-
tus Motors Harley-Davidson's Bronson Bauman and
Briggsauto.com/Martin Trucking's Brandon Price
finished seventh, eighth and ninth, respectively.
They were followed home by support-class ace Ben
Lowe, who put his Mission Production Twins-spec
Harley-Davidson XG750R into the top 10.

2022. And as such, he has to race with
the championship in mind. "The day
didn't start off too good," he said. "We
had a couple li le gremlins—electric
stuff—that we had to work through. But
it was another racetrack for me and the
team to go through the steps together,
which is good because I have two new
mechanics on the team. I just rode to
what my limits were for the night with
the track and everything."

SUPERTWINS
Ben Lowe made up for a quiet opener
with a runner-up result aboard the
Helipower Racing/Mission Foods
Harley-Davidson XG750R in the Mis-
sion Produc on Twins main. He then
leveraged that finish to claim a top-10
result in Mission Produc on Twins via
the Mission Produc on Twins Challenge.
He said, "The Produc on Twins main
was really good. It was all about ge ng
the holeshot and following each other
around. There wasn't much passing on
this track, especially during the night. It
was really cool being in the SuperTwins
main and comparing ourselves to the
faster guys. I think it's going to make us
Produc on Twins guys who do make it
into the SuperTwins main just that much
faster."
Beach finished a close
second when all was
said and done.
