Both would get up under their
own power—albeit slowly—Sexton
exiting the track with a shredded
jersey, while Webb remounted in
hopes of scoring points. He rode
one-handed for a few laps before
retiring. Luckily, neither rider
reported serious injury, Sexton
saying he will be back for India-
napolis, while initial reports say
Webb is okay, but he will have
more x-rays on his hand when he
gets home just to be sure.
Anderson also found himself
in the dirt. The Kawasaki rider
led several laps but tucked the
front end in a turn after giving
the lead up to Tomac. With no
time to brace his fall, Anderson
smacked his head and was slow
Another podium puts Barcia
fourth in the overall points, just
three markers shy of third place.
The real drama came from
back in the back and involved
three of the series' most promi-
nent names. Cooper Webb and
Chase Sexton found themselves
dueling for most of the main event
before both riders hit the deck.
Webb looked to be the first rider
of the night to uncork a triple-in
rhythm option but cased it just
ahead of Sexton. Sexton's line
drifted over midair as Webb rolled
the following jump underneath
him and looked to get back into a
rhythm. Sexton then landed right
on Webb's arm and shoulder and
sent both riders end over end.

STATEMENT
The Red Bull KTM Factory Rac-
ing Team provided an update
on Cooper Webb's injuries as of
Saturday evening: "It's fair to say
that Cooper was pretty banged
up when he was landed on. Upon
initial observation by the doctor
here at the track of his shoulder
and hand, it doesn't appear that
anything is broken, but he plans to
have further evaluation and x-rays
when he returns home to Florida
on Monday."
ROCZEN OUT
Another big blow to the series was
Ken Roczen openly opting out of
the remaining races for the 2022
Supercross Series. The Honda
rider spoke about needing time to
focus on his health while getting
his body and mind right. Team
Honda HRC hopes to have him
back on the line for round one of
the AMA Pro Motocross Champi-
onship.
SUZUKI TOP 10
Got to give credit where credit it's
due. Both of the HEP/Twisted Tea
Suzuki riders, Justin Bogle and
Brandon Hartranft, put their bikes
inside the 450SX top 10, finish-
ing eighth and ninth, respectively.
Bogle holeshotted and led the
opening laps of the main event
before getting shuffled back to his
season best finish. Hartranft suf-
fered a crash in his heat race but
rallied to win the LCQ and secure
a top 10 in the main.
Briefly...
Jason Anderson (21) led the
race for a while until Tomac got
him. Anderson later went down
on his own and hit his head
on the ground. He got going
again, fell again moments later,
and then pulled off.
