ROUND 10 / MARCH 12, 2022
FORD FIELD / DETROIT, MICHIGAN
P76
SUPERCROSS I MONSTER ENERGY AMA SUPERCROSS SERIES
silent, I didn't hear anything! It
scared the living daylights out of
me, all I saw was a front fender
and I was like 'Whoa.' The track
was pretty tight and the first
group of lappers I got to, there
was four or five of them and they
were going hard. The track was
tricky because there's so many
lines and ruts, but it's harder for
them because they're still trying
to hit their lines and not mess
anyone else up. It was definitely
tricky." With another win under
his belt Lawrence extends his
points lead to eight over Cam-
eron McAdoo.
The number-48 of Cameron
McAdoo kept his title hopes alive
with another come-from-behind
win in the main. He was the only
250 rider to touch the 43-sec-
ond mark in qualifying and his
time was so good in fact, that it
would've put the young Aussie
fifth overall in the 450SX class.
In the main it continued to be
the Jett Lawrence Show, as he
technically took the holeshot,
but moved into the lead by the
third turn. From there he went on
to lead all 21 laps of the 250SX
East main. His competitors did
manage to get close at one point
though, as lappers played a big
part late in the race.
"This guy comes up on the in-
side," Lawrence said laughingly,
grabbing Pierce Brown. "Every-
one revs it in the air, this guy was
to remount. He got back on the
number-21 Kawasaki but fell over
again just one section later. An-
derson looked dazed and pulled
out of the race right after, drop-
ping him to 21st on the night.
Tomac's lead in the champion-
ship has skyrocketed to 42 over
Anderson and Stewart who are
now tied for second. Barcia is
just three points back in fourth
and Webb is another 11 points
back in fifth.

for Jett Lawrence as he logged
another perfect Saturday with
the fastest qualifying time, a heat
race win, and a near wire-to-wire
Jett Lawrence was in a
class all his own in the
250SX East main.
