30 Years Ago MARCH 18, 1992 Team Muzzy Kawasaki's Scott Russell won the Daytona 200 30 years ago after drafting past polesitter Doug Polen at the finish. Russell was pictured on the cover... Jeff Stanton won the Daytona Supercross for the fourth consecutive time. Brian Swink won the 125cc class... Chris Carr kicked off the AMA GNC/Camel Pro Series with a win at the Daytona Short Track... Joey Hopkins was the big winner at the Alligator Enduro... Tommy Hayden and Kenny Coolbeth Jr. were some of the winners at the Daytona Amateur Short Track.
