Sam Sunderland and the Burj Khalifa
H
ere's a cool video just for
the sake of it. Those content
kings over at Red Bull have gone
even harder on this one, perch-
ing former Dakar winner Sam
Sunderland on top of the world's
tallest building, the Burj Khalifa in
Dubai.
The video serves almost as
a tourist movie for Dubai, as
Sunderland rips across the city
desert landscape on his KTM
450 SX-F. There's also an Oscar-
winning performance from Toby
Price, but it's all about Sunder-
land, who has definitely earned
his place in the Red Bull pan-
theon.

J
ustin Cooper, the 2021
250SX West Champion, re-
vealed before the opening round
of the 2022 Monster Energy
Supercross Series, that he will
not defend his number-one plate
due to injury.
Cooper, of the Monster En-
ergy Star Racing Yamaha Team,
broke his foot the week leading
up to the race and its sounds as
though the injury will see him sit
out the entire Supercross series,
since he won't be ready in time
for the start of the 250SX East
Championship in Minneapolis,
February 19. He's hoping to be
healed up for the start of the
outdoor Pro Motocross series in
May.
And things
didn't get any
better for the
team when its
2021 250SX
East number-one
plate holder Colt
Nichols crashed
in the first 250SX
heat race at Ana-
heim 1. Nichols
suffered multiple
injuries, included
two broken arms,
when he went down viciously in
the whoops and got pummeled
by his motorcycle.
When Nichols will return is
not yet known at this time.
