W
ant an ultra-rare Ducati for your col-
lection? We have just the ticket in this
stunning Ducati 916 SPa. One of just 54
made by the factory, the SPa was created to
homologate the 96mm cylinder bores and
resultant larger displacement (855cc vs the
usual 916cc) for AMA Superbike racing.
The SPa comes with a Showa fork, an
Ohlins shock, the trademark single-sided
swingarm, Brembo brakes, a Termignoni ex-
haust system with carbon-fiber mufflers and
a solo seat. Modifications for this particular
model come in the form of a tuned ECU, Marchesi-
ni wheels, Brembo Billet GP front brake calipers, a
quick-change rear sprocket and carrier, a custom
shock spring and carbon-fiber accessories, and a
clear Oregon title.
At the time of writing, the auction on bringa-
trailer.com had a leading bid of $34,995 and ends
in two days.

Honda RC213
V-S Breaks
Auction Record
A
brand-new Honda RC213 V-S, still
bubble wrapped and in its transportation
crate, has sold at auction for a whopping
$237,700, making it the most expensive
Japanese motorcycle ever sold at auction.
The machine has only one mile on the
odometer and saw 63 bidders fighting it out
on the Collecting Cars website. The Honda
also came with the optional HRC Race Kit and
exhaust, which boosted power from 150 hp to a
claimed 214 hp.
"We are proud to have achieved yet another
world-record sales price—this time for an incredible
road-legal MotoGP that will be a jewel in the new
owner's collection," said Founder of Collecting
Cars, Edward Lovett.
The Honda RC213 V-S was made for sale only in
2015 and billed as the closest thing you could buy
to a MotoGP bike for the street. Offering similar
performance to the Open Class Honda raced
by Scott Redding and Nicky Hayden in 2014, an
RC213 V-S was also used by Marc Marquez as his
training tool when getting back up to speed for his
racing return last year.
