faster than me, but you probably
figured that out already since
they are superstar racers and I
just have a job at Cycle News.
Guess you guys were right to
make me go to college instead
of letting me go racing.
What else…? Oh, I know mom
would want to know about how
they are treating me with food.
It's awesome. Full breakfast,
lunch and dinner and the ladies
who are serving it up are good
cooks. They're also nice (I'm
starting to think everyone in Texas is nice). And Colin's wife Alyssia even helps out. She's also
pretty easy on the eyes… dad.
Anyway, mom doesn't have to

worry about me starving. These
girls are hooking me up on the
food.
Of course there are a few
pranksters here at the camp. You
guys know this Steve Parrish kid.
He used to race GPs back in the
day and now he's a commentator
for BBC in MotoGP. He's here
and he's always good for a few
jokes. I also saw him put some
little dog biscuits in the cookie
jar and he keeps looking to see if
one of the other kids eats them. I
saw him do this after I'd knocked
him down in one of our first few
laps on the bikes, but it still made
me feel better. Anyway, I'm not
going to eat cookies that aren't
in a bag.
They've got a full BBC crew
here. Parrish has his sidekick
Matt Roberts with him (mom
might know him from TV because he's the snappy dresser).
They are doing interviews with
Colin and everybody and really pouring it on with the Texas
theme. Pretty sure this is the first
time Parrish has worn a cowboy
hat. Hopefully, it's the last.
The best thing about this camp
is there's not a lot of classroom
stuff. I still remember that stupid sailing camp you guys sent
me to where the instructors kept
showing us stuff on a chalkboard
when all I wanted to do was sail
