RCU FIELD TRIP

he second edition of the Ricky Carmichael
University headed to the UK and the Fatcat
Circuit in Doncaster recently. Over 140 students
took in Carmichael's words of wisdom and experience gained through 15 AMA Championship titles and 150 victories and enjoyed a slapup BBQ, as well as quality time with RC in just
his second European jaunt for the RCU.

UK's last motocross World Champion in 2001),

star) Carmichael drilled the riders – from 65ccmounted kids to Expert-level adults and from
across northern Europe – in tuition for riding
sand, cornering and other facets of the demanding sport.
"It means a lot to be able to come over here
and see the fans and I'm glad we had an opportunity to come back with the RCU," Carmichael
said. "This project is all about giving back to the
sport. It is cool to see young talent coming up.
I like to watch what they are doing and it's easy
for me to appreciate what they are doing. It is
energizing."
