The rims didn't get so much as a scratch on them. ., The small and compact Suzuki odometer resides behind the front number plate and was consistantly off one-tenth of a mile at each threemile speedo check. As different tires will change the speedo error, this isn't really a problem. The important thing is that it was consistant and could be relied upon. We liked the PE for its confidenceinwiring sus~nsion, precise handling and ~ood motor. Compared .10_ these qualities, its shortcomings seemed few and confined to the area of adjustment. For the majority of enduro riders, the Suzuki PEl75 and its full complement of enduro goodies will be a great package for local competition. For those select few that seek the ultimate enduro weapon, the PE will be an excellant base to stan upon the ultimate task. • , (Editor's note: The model we tested was a 1982 PE, but the '83 is a carryover model with only cosmetic changes.
