Add the names of Dennis Sigalos and Bobby
Schwartz to the list that includes Bruce Penhall, Brad Lackey, Danny LaPorte, and
"Magoo" as the American dominance of
World Championships in dirt
racing for 1982 conti~ued right
through to the end of the year.
"Siggy" and "Boogaloo"
were never pressured as they swept all
six of their heats with perfect wire to
wire 1-2 finishes. In the process they
picked up the maximum score of 30
points, the first time any team had
accomplished the feat in the 13 years
of the Best Pairs World Championship.
