Some of the stars of the week were Donald Upton, Scott Sheak and Kevin Windham... In our In The Wind section, we asked the question: "KTM Bankrupt?" This came after learning the bank had taken over control of KTM Austria's assets in the sport motorcycle division... Jeff Stanton won the Tokyo Supercross over Jeff Ward, Larry Ward and Mike Kiedrowski... We covered the L.A.-to-Barstow-to- Vegas dual-sport ride. VOLUME 58 ISSUE 49 DECEMBER 7, 2021 P105 Our 2002 big-bore four-stroke motocross shootout was featured 20 years ago. The CN staff traveled to Larry Wosick's Honey Lake MX Park north of Reno, Nevada, to compare seven of the most exotic production motocross bikes in the world, including the Cannondale X440S, Vertemati C500, Vor 530MX and Husaberg FC550.
