otorcycle ties downs may not be the
most exciting item you will buy for
motorcycling, but quality tie downs can
save your precious motorcycle and transport
vehicle from damage. My friend Brian Cornelius
was transporting a couple of borrowed cruiser
motorcycles several years ago when a bump
jolted the bikes enough to that the straps un-
latched from the hook on the trailer and both
bikes tipped over. He came up with the idea to
add a carabiner hook on one end and a built-in
soft tie on the other end to limit scratching on
the bike and make it virtually impossible for ei-
ther end to come unattached. These features are
now common from other companies, but Brian's
Pacific Powersports was the first company to of-
fer this to the motorcycle market.
