Getting Kids on Two Wheels
A
ll Kids Bike is a national movement led
by the Strider Education Foundation
to place Kindergarten PE Learn-To-Ride
Programs into public schools for free, us-
ing donations from individuals, businesses
and organizations.
To help showcase the program, All Kids
Bike partnered with American Flat Track to
deliver bikes to Parkside Elementary near
Charlotte, North Carolina, the day before
the AFT Championship finale in the area.
AFT riders Cory Texter, Johnny Lewis
and JD Beach participated in the event
and helped assemble bikes. After the
bikes were put together in the AFT pit area
at Charlotte Motor Speedway, the riders
and the All Kids Bike team delivered the fleet of over 20 bikes to the school.
