VOL. 50 ISSUE 26 JULY 2, 2013 Dorna is hoping to reduce the costs necessary to participate in World Superbike, which in turn should make sure the grid is filled. we are sure that we need to expand outside Europe. We need to go to the countries where their economies are growing and they are able to pay us a good fee. So, if they are able to pay us these good fees, what we will do is share this profit - to help these teams come to these countries. Also we want to go to these countries because the manufacturers want to go there, because they are not selling bikes in Europe. They are selling them in Asia, Indonesia, India… we are aware that if we finally go to these countries then somehow we will have to help these teams to logistics. Also we are planning the calendar next year to make it easier for teams. For example if we have a race in Germany we do not put the next race as Portimao, so they do not have to cross Europe P81 again and again. We are planning how to manage this. Also with the long hauls, we are working with Qatar and if we are able to find an agreement, finally, if we can start in Australia – this is a must for us and the circuit – we can then continue with Qatar. What things were just as you expected and what were not as you expected in World Superbike racing when you took over? The show is very good, but we confirmed that the situation of the championship was very bad. But we are still learning in SBK and after six races we are maybe at 80 percent of the process of learning really what is inside Superbike. Our idea was that this year would be a completely transitional year to understand the situation, but I think we were able to understand the real situation quite fast. The recent FIM press release is general in its technical terms at the moment, correct? We have tried to, but the manufacturers really need this, because if they do not have this they do not believe they can properly develop their motorbikes. So it is something that we have to leave it open. What about the Supersport Championship?
