two rolled around and I got buried
in the first turn," said Tomac. "I'm
not sure what happened, I was
maybe sleeping on the line and
my reaction time was a little bad.
And at that time you kind of get
buried on the inside. But I knew
that Ken was leading and I knew
that he finished third in the first
moto, so I knew I just needed to
get up into second. It was tough
to pass and the hardest part was
making sure I had clear vision.
You only have so many tear-offs,
so you can't freak out and pull

get roosted, but there were corners where I had to run the inside
and just take what I got."
Roczen took the easy win in
moto two, the Red Bull KTM
rider finishing some 10 seconds
ahead of Tomac at the finish. It
was Roczen's first moto, which
defined his weekend, however.
The former MX2 World champ
went down with teammate Marvin
Musquin and, like Tomac did on
moto two, was forced to come
from behind.
