Tyla Rattray of the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki Team
and two-time Southwick winner
(both coming in the 250 class) was
far more impressive than his 10-8
(sixth overall) moto finishes might
suggest. He got caught up in firstturn crashes in both 450 motos and
had to come from far behind. "This
is one of the most interesting days
of my career," said Rattray. "I had
to watch the entire field pull away

Hahn was battling up front in the
250 class when his motor let go on

the middle of the sight lap when his
bike quit again and was unable to
make the start of the second moto,
ending his holeshot streak. "Another holeshot," Hahn said. "That
started off the weekend awesome

way it did, and there's not much you
