Webb (turn six), sliding for over
1300 feet but remounting unhurt
to take second, with Petersen
sweeping through for a career-

ers all crashed but still took the
podium places, something that
never happens in modern-day
racing.
Fourth went to the Stock 1000
entry of Ashton Yates (Jones
Honda) with Jake Lewis (Altus
Motorsports Suzuki) fifth.
Race two would be Scholtz's
revenge as the Westby Racing
Yamaha rider took a red-flagged
win after deer was seen run-
ning across the track on lap 12.
Second went to Baz and third to
Gagne, who had to fight his way
through the spray after starting
from the back of the grid follow-
ing his race-one crash.
Cameron Petersen came home
in fourth from Lewis, who sealed
the Superbike Cup Champion-
ship win for Stock 1000 bikes
competing against the regular
Superbikes with his fifth place.
Normal service at last resumed
in race three with Gagne taking
the win from Scholtz with Baz
(who crashed again and remount-
ed) taking third from Yates and
Petersen.

1-1 JUNIOR CUP
"The track honestly wasn't as bad as
I was an cipa ng on the start," com-
mented Sco . "Yesterday, I wrapped up
the championship, so today there was no
stress. Me and Ben were locked into the
championship, so I knew today he was go-
ing to be pushing even harder because if
we crashed, it's not like we'd be losing the
championship. So, I knew everyone that
was in the ba le yesterday would be try-
ing 110 percent today. It was a great race."

"I don't think there are enough words
to express what (this championship)
means (to me), or even the amount that
I've learned," Lukacs said. "It's beyond
measure, obviously. It's been a journey of
a life me. To even have one win, and then
another win, and then how I got this win,
I'm beside myself."
