Vidic has previously been racing here o n Friday nights but has never looked so fast or has he won as much money as he did in this ra ce. J im ' Wilson (C Z) sponsored by Valerian 's, has been one of th e finest weekly r acers on these nigh t races and usually his troubles are with either Billy Payne or Ken Zahrt 'b u t n ow he was aced o u t by Vidic an d drew a second place $40 check . Mark Hately o n a Kawasa ki won $25 . Brian Slagle (Pen) was the 125 Junior winner as he proved mota by mota over John Grant (Y am ). DeSoto experien ced a wagon-fu ll of problems, not th e least of which was a bump and tangle situation wit h Bob Haag. Both ride rs ended up on the ir dow n side , Haag possibly suffering a frac tu red fo o t. De S.oto got res tar ted , but th e best he co uld do for th e ni gh t was thi rd overall, be hin d the second p lace fin ish of Bill Hen d erso n , w ho ro d e his CZ h ard and steady and . stayed o u t of t ro u ble. The 125 Expert class just seems to be to tall y domin ated by th e Pen tons.
