S teve' s Dash wasn ' t the fas test ever but h e kne w his luck had turned good . an d he showed it with a lot of teeth. Paul Warn e tried t o hold the lead but tir ed and dropped to • , ........ : WARREN WILSON MOTORS ' ... third behind Rand y Miller. The Main appe ar ed to be Hansen's whe n he go t th e big jump. He led easily fo r 12 laps with Bob Scally running second and Hernandez mo ving to third th,:ough th e p ack. On the 12 th lap, go mg d o wn the back ch u t e, Han sen lost con tro l of the rear wh eel an d , in go ing down , ne arly took Scally with him. This left Hern andez a large ho le and th e win . Bernadette is turning into a very fin e rider as she an d the rest o f th e girls ge t more exp erie nce from ra cing ea ch week. The 125 cl ass and T rop hy Dash winner was 13 year o ld Butch Br own on a Clarke Simpkins H onda. Butch is starting to ride very fast now and putting a lot o f th e older and mor,. experienc e rider s o ut of th e re sults with hi s speed. ~ T he 25 0 clas s wa s a real up set as Dann y Amo r j umped in to th e lead in th e Main Event and held o n to hi s lead to th e checke red flag. puttin g down all th e h ot shoe Ex perts th at were kn ocking at his b ack wh eel trying to ge t th e lead. We now s t op for the Ch ristmas season and will be back hot an d hea vy on January 13th with a full racing program in Cl o verdale again . ~ •
