As yo u co me to th e brink, yo u lo ok down 75 feet of nearly vertical course, in ter sp ers ed with freq uen t whoop-de-des. 125 Expert Ernie Hendricks and his trusty Bul a~in dominated h is class for the [ho-h um ] third rac e in a row. All of the racing was first rate as usual, esp ecialIy t he last moto of the Open Exp er t class when Byron Bo az and hi s big y ellow tractor, er , Maico parted comp any o n the infamous downhill. Byron remounted and p ro ceeded to regain the lead, h en ce first Open Expert.
